As your new (and inexperienced) Webmaster, I am trying to clean-up this site. We had a tremendous amount of SPAM posted by illicit users. Larry informed me that recently he has had to spend a great deal of time doing the same thing, therefore, I am proposing the following:

All NEW users of this site must apply for privledges to post/comment. All "real" users will then l be approved but spammers should be caught and denied access.

 The MDA Telethon is over for 09' and our HOG members was hard at work helping out, thanks to Malinda and her Crew the Commisary fed all the volunteers and even the phones had help from old and new HOG members. and the ones who ran to pick up food and delivered MDA Bike tickets, and of course Scott & Nancy our Host.

  Ask me whats its like to hit the pavement with your head without a helmet. Well I can't tell you, but I can tell you about hiting the pavement with a helmet on. matter of fact I can tell you what was going thru my mind as I was sliding down the road on my head. I thought I was a careful rider. I thought I could never have a bad accident because of this reason. WRONG.

Ginger and I drove to Weston (near KC) yesterday. Our ride plans got canceled because of the weather. Weston is a cool little town, a little Eureka Springs. They are known for their old brewery, wine making, many shopps and Irish heritage. Every 2nd Saturday is "taste day" and all eateries and pubs offer free tastes.
